How is the 5-hour tour time allocated?
Our planning allowance is approximately 135 minutes at sightseeing stops and breaks, 145 minutes driving between locations and returning towards Auckland, plus 20 minutes of flexibility for traffic, parking and boarding. The refreshment break is included; food and drinks other than bottled water are purchased separately.
Stop durations are approximate and may vary with traffic, weather, opening hours, access and the needs of the group. Your driver may adjust the order or redistribute time between stops. These are planning allowances, not guaranteed driving forecasts or fixed appointments.
The advertised tour duration begins after the final passenger pickup. Accommodation collections and final return drop-offs require additional time.
Where do you pick up and drop off?
Complimentary pickup and return drop-off cover your hotel, motel or other accommodation within Auckland CBD or up to 5 km by road from Britomart. Enter the accommodation name and full pickup/drop-off addresses when booking. Other locations require separate agreement and may incur additional charges.
Collections begin up to 30 minutes before the 9:00 am departure. We will confirm your individual pickup time before travel. Please be ready at your accommodation’s main entrance five minutes before that confirmed time.
Guests may be collected from different accommodation addresses. The five-hour sightseeing tour begins after the final booked passenger has been collected. Allow additional time for collections and return drop-offs.

Auckland Airport is outside the complimentary collection area. Airport pickup requires separate arrangements and may cost extra, subject to timing and vehicle availability. Allow sufficient time for arrival formalities and travel to the tour.
For direct Auckland Airport ↔ Auckland City journeys, refer to the fixed fares in our Airport & Private Transfers booking form. Airport transfers are additional to the tour fare.

Provide each child’s age and child-seat requirements in the special-requests question. We will confirm availability, suitability and any additional charge. Children under 18 must travel with an adult aged 18 or over and remain supervised, including during self-guided walks.
What about luggage and special requests?
Bring small personal bags. Tell us about suitcases, pushchairs, wheelchairs or bulky equipment when booking so we can check space and suitable arrangements. For mobility equipment, please say whether it folds and whether the passenger can transfer to a vehicle seat.
Special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed. We will advise if an additional charge applies.
Can I pay a deposit, and how do I pay the remaining balance?
Where offered at checkout, you can pay a 30% deposit or pay in full. The remaining 70% is due no later than 24 hours before the advertised tour departure. Bookings made within two days of departure require full payment.
You can pay the balance securely through Manage my booking in your confirmation email. We also send a reminder two days before travel with a direct link to your booking portal.
Your booking portal shows your current payment status. Once your balance is paid in full, you can download your updated ticket showing Paid in full and your latest invoice reflecting all payments received.
If you need assistance or haven’t received your reminder, please contact us.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour departure for a full refund of your tour payment, including any deposit. For later cancellations or no-shows, payments are normally non-refundable, subject to applicable consumer rights. Any cancellation charge will not exceed the total fare or a reasonable estimate of our loss.
The deadline is based on the advertised departure time, rather than your individual accommodation pickup time. Check the exact deadline and terms at checkout. Cancel through the customer booking portal where available, or contact us promptly with your reference.
Is there a minimum number of passengers?
Solo travellers are welcome. Shared departures normally require at least three passengers aged two or over across all bookings. Infants count towards seating capacity but not the operating minimum. We may operate with fewer passengers at our discretion.
If minimum numbers are not reached and we cannot operate, we will contact you at least 24 hours before departure to offer an alternative departure or a full refund of your tour payment.
What happens if weather or access affects the tour?
The order, duration and availability of stops may change because of traffic, weather, opening hours or access restrictions. An affected stop may be replaced with a suitable alternative.
Follow all safety signs, closures and footwear-cleaning instructions, and stay on designated open trails. Swimming and climbing Lion Rock are not part of this tour. If we cancel the tour or make a significant change you do not accept, we will offer an alternative or a refund for the affected service. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
What happens after booking?
Check your confirmation email and ticket for the date, departure time, passenger numbers, pickup/drop-off details and payment status. Contact us promptly if anything is incorrect or changes.
We will confirm your individual collection time before travel and respond separately to special requests. An unpaid reservation or ticket marked Awaiting Payment is not evidence of successful payment.
